When hope is gone

Just somethin' I thought of and decided to put on here.

WHEN HOPE IS GONE

People will fight until the end

As long as hope stands

They will not bend

When they fight for love

They wont give up

They will keep fighting

Till their hope is cut

When hope is gone

So is your will

When hope is gone

You can no longer kill

If you fight for love

And your love is lost

You will give up

But at what cost

You must hold on to hope

And protect those you love

Dont let either one go

Hold them tight in your gloves

And if you suceed

And hold on to hope and love

Then you will need not worry

When push comes to shove

That's lovely. That's the best word for it, in my opinion, anyway. (: Very true, too. If you love, but don't hope, you end up losing what you love in your hopelessness. I'm very wary about offering criticism for poetry, there are just so many ways to interpret things...but there are two lines that just feel a bit 'off' to me. 'Your enemies will kill' and 'Swear on the gods above' just seem like they could be improved if they were rewritten in a little different way...
Anyway, awesome presentation of an awesome concept!
