Waiting....

I am a lonely soul

who is currently young but growing old

I can never find someone out there who is right for me

There are thousands of pretty women out there, so many that they can cover the sea

but you see, I am not looking for beauty I am not looking for lust

I am looking for someone who can understand me, that is a must

I want to find that connection, as if our souls were one

I want our connection to be so strong that not even the strongest boulder can make it undone 

they say there is someone out there for everyone and I believe that's true

but sometimes I doubt it, maybe there's no one for me, maybe I am one of the few

that doesn't have a soul mate, because at this rate, it looks like I'm going to be too late,

to the class of love, where all in attendance have someone to love

but they say good things come to those who wait

so I sit here patiently while God writes my fate

I can totally relate to this, I have the same feelings and would like to find that right someone, but sometimes it is best to wait. I heard a saying that I like it says, "the worst thing about being single and alone is being married and alone." It is very wise to not jump into anything to quickly but I am sure someone will come along and be there for you, just keep being yourself.
