Miss You

Miss You

A Poem by Joey Martinez

search the skies, the faraway oceans
hoping you’d feel my emotions
hoping the gentle breeze will bring me
a whisper of your voice
and a ray of your beauty
When the sun rises slowly in the morning
and I awake from a sleepless night
I feel how strongly I miss you, it’s burning
I try to focus on something else, with all my might
Without you near, I tend to fear
that you are unsafe or somewhere in tears
its like you dorm inside my mind
and It looks like your staying
for quite some time
I miss you and I can take it no longer
come back to me and make our love stronger.
