A toast to the Outcasts

A toast to the Outcasts

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Overwhelmed by the normality
Don't fit in, stuck with abnormality
Such a strong agonizing fatality
To be faced with a unique personality.
We are the one's who have been questioned by society,
The one's who personality contain variety
The one's who see the world in a different light
We are the ones who will end up alright.
We don't fall into society's trap
We stay true to ourselves, but we adapt
Us people don't fall victim to the trends
We create our own and stay ourselves to the end.
I love being me, I will never change for no one
Because being someone you're not is no fun
Who am I talking about you ask?
The realest people on Earth, the Outcasts!
I raise my glass that all of us last
Here's a toast to the Outcasts!
