Leaving

Leaving

A Poem by Joey Martinez

I will meet you in this divinity
We will overcome this sad machine
And among these years of war
  the lights may flicker
But we will see fresh ecstatic snow
And behind the polygon dust
We shall hear the bells
Among the natural light
We will overcome our weakness and become  lionhearted
And together we will swim with the sea of voices
This will give us a fellow feeling
So lets tip our hats and say goodbye to a world
For we had just made a discovery
We have found our new home
This is ours, no one else can come
Because no one else knows it exists.
