Power Pen

I am a writer and nothing more
I have endless creativity so I never bore
Worlds, life, and emotion splatter on the page
Poetry helped my creativity escape realities cage
It also helped tame my inner rage
And despite it not bringing me any type of wage
I write for days on end
The greatest weapon a man can have is his pen
I always have a pen ready to go
In case I'm in a battle with these emotions that love to show
But I dodge their bullets and dance around their traps
The pen and paper is a armor that's far more intact
