Transition

Transition

A Poem by Joey Martinez

I was one of those fools who thought the world wanted to duel and leave me for dead.
Led to believe that my failures were caused by the evil deeds of the family trees of the government.
But that all changed when I saw people who had less than me turn tradegy into wonderment.
The world isn’t out to get you, you’re out to get the world.
Grab it.
So much potential being wasted it’s tragic.
So many people reside on this earth what makes you special enough to be targeted for your worth when you’re worthless?
There’s no X on the back of your head you just can’t handle failure and the emotions that dread.
