It is over

This time my words won't mend her

and I think I told her

It was forever, but I don't remember

Now that I'm sober

and back in a reasonable state

It´s too late

I guess it´s been too late for a long time

So many have lost faith in me

Didn't realize it´s gotten this bad

What was it out there that I wanted to find?

Earn another dime

While losing what I already had

It is over

Finally I´ve become a little wise

Out of the blur

But it´s harder to look the truth in the eyes

I´m finally present

and my words don't slur

But all those years I spent

I used to mean so much to her

But it´s been too late for a long time

I´ve hurt here too many times

and you can't erase the past

Even if you apologize

There are scars because of me

Because I didn't wanna be

A failure

Now look at me

That´s what I always were

Very strong, powerful,emotional, moving and meaningful write hun.
this was brilliantly penned.
I love the way you wrote this one out and the picture fits it perfectly.
Sad and touching this tale about a man that let down the one person/hes one love that meant the most to him.
A story about failure and regret.
I guess he took her for granted, and now he knows it to late to get her back.

Am so pleased to be on your scented pages again..and believe me your still as best as awesome as ever you've been. I like this poem, I've figured out some depth of the heart of a man who wanted to regret but if he does then he'd be a failure but it's true, neither he does wanna regret nor he wants to be a failure so, he's confused because his mind's taking him away to the world of pain and heart's calling him to release the words so, he does. You've here plotted a very common concept, it's related to humans's lives. A man always does make sin and fall down and when he does realize what he done's wrong, he regrets but here in this concept you've given a new direction to this poem..here what all he wanted to do is "Now look at me, that's what I always were!" ;)

Beautiful poem, Miss world. Well, now believe me, even you gotta believe in me that you've been much better than before. I can feel this feel through your new stuffs.
