Just Driving

I´m a the cabbin on easter vacation.. and it´s a long drive, so I wrote this in the car.

Driving

I was just driving

Driving too fast

Past the limit

Almost crashed

A light of life flashed

You were in it

I was just driving

Driving past

Memories

Danger signs

Invisible

At the time

I was just driving

Hands tight

On the wheel

Red, yellow, green light

Trying not to feel

I was just driving

Through cold wind

The sun´s heat

Spilling everything

To the empty passenger seat

I was just driving

An endless road getting longer

Running out of fuel

It could all be over

I was just driving

Faster through the dark

Swaying the car

Almost colliding

Never drive with a broken heart
