But I cried the whole way home

It was amazing

It was a blast

It was a broken thing

It was the past

I like how the words danced and create sad emotion and story. You led the reader to a sad ending. Your above lines I liked a lot. Had to learn. Your love wasn't so important. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

It is quite beautiful expression of pain of the lost love. Yes it does hurt but gives us certain lessons as well to make better choices in future.
