Sad

A very sad poem I wrote today.

I felt a little sad today

I felt a little sad yesterday as well

If you asked I wouldn't say

But now I feel sadder being by myself

The rain hit the pavement the last day you lived

and I forgave you for all that you did

Right there until the end, I was your little kid

and now I´m not anymore

I felt so confused then

and I felt mad the day before

Why wouldn't they do anything?

They gave me your watch, and the clothes that you wore

Along with the tears falling from my eyes

When I told you to wake up you wouldn't complie

and then you weren't there anymore

I felt a little sad today

I felt a little sad yesterday too

If they asked I wouldn´t say

Because none of them could ever be you

Losing someone is one of the worst feelings in the world. You penned this sad poem quite well.

This is so simple, yet so powerful. The sheer intensity you manage to convey with these lines is very powerful, and they're my favourite! You just keep getting better and better, it's a difficult task to be able to morph something so tragic into something beautiful, but you manage it, and how! Great job :)
