The OceanA Poem by JohannaI´ve been at the cabbin this weekend watching the ocean all day.. wrote this poem before I went to bed.Today you are still but yesterday you roared Rose over smooth stones and slammed against shores Glided against boats A blue endless thread Lingered around all of those With water stroking their heads Glided between hopefulness and those with no hope left Kept all the secrets At the ocean's depth Hollow echoes of wonder In every single wave Slithered between the fingers of the scared and the brave Sparkled green in the sun Blue in the afternoon Wild and black once the night begun Because the light faded too soon Fell over cold metal That gathered the life you gave Made spirals on the surface With what life gave away Moved along the fjord Encouraged by the wind and thrill Yes yesterday you roared But today you are still © 2014 JohannaReviews
