Blank Paper

I think all poets and songwriters feel like this sometimes.. at least I do

I sat there

to write a song

cause I had so many words on my mind

Didn´t care

If it was going wrong

If the words wouldn't align

Blank paper

Be filled

of all the events of my life

Blank paper

be filled

of all the thoughts on my mind

Blank paper

be filled

of the passing time

Blank paper

be filled

of tired words that rhyme..

Author's Note

I wrote this a few days ago but haven´t posted it until now.. I more words come I might add to it, but I´ve decided to leave the paper like this for now.

a blank paper changes it's image when filled, articulated with heart touching ideas, thoughts, wonderful imageries and deep words. It's always a fun and pleasure to drop in feelings on a paper, I think songwriting is a much cool fun I love doing that.

This is very true! We sometimes just wish that our life would be filled with things, but when we want something good to happen we just do it.

Oh, yes! Too often I sense this... words wanting to be released... and trying to find a way to set them free on the page. A beautiful expression of that longing writers have to give voice to words... to music... to the life within... Thank you for this, Johanna! :)
