The Ultimate Ode

The Ultimate Ode

A Poem by John Curry
"

Something I wrote a long time ago

"
Stars, the ancient still photos of the past.
Comte to the night sky to bless me with their presence
And shower me in their luminescence as to immobilize me in a cast;

But they are only trinkets to the moon, who's light floods my retinas in a storm.
Who makes my eyes shine-like the vision of the eye of the storm.
Who's light makes my heart pine- and can reach the underground dwelling
Of the worm.

But thrice is my love for the king
Who dispels the dim splendor wretched thing!
Dim ,but only when compared to the power of the sun.
Who wakes the world to say, "So, starts the fun!"
And fills the Earth with energy for our fleshly temples to run.
Who is it that can do this but our godly sun?
Who, "Starts the fun", - "Who dispels the dim splendor, wretched thing"
And who creates the shade to protect me from the bee's sting

About
I'm a writer in the making. Sometimes when I'm going about my day to day life... a poem just plays out in my head and I just have to write it down... they usually don't rhyme... they are just express.. more..
