The tears of lifeA Poem by Johnny Sorrow
I wish I was a simple cloud, though full of tears I make no sound. I go wherever the breeze may lead, I shed my tears when I burst from the need. In my anger I flash with light, and children I frighten with a roar of might.
Though destruction may follow the path I take, my tears give birth to life each day. When I am gone the sun shines bright, and the people I cried for give thanks for the light. And so I move on where the breeze will lead, and cry once more for eternity. © 2016 Johnny Sorrow |
