I will be Glorified

Though we are sinners we have the chance to be glorified with God. This is what this song is all about.

I am a wretch

Stuck so deep in a sinful world.

I was so lost,

But I’ve finally found that

There’s a way beyond the darkness.

There’s a way that I call home

There’s a way that I shall stay safe forever

There’s a way, it is Christ alone.

 

This fight is so long

I’m weary and want to perish.

Let me come to you

That I may be safe forever and

Glory You for Your awesome power,

And glory for You are my Savior

And glory for You are the Almighty

And glory for You are God!

 

When I am glorified;

I shall praise you forever.

And I shall sing

Of your mercies and declare . . . that

You are God, you reign forever!

You are God, you call and justify!

You are God, you condemn; you save!

You are God, You are God alone!

I agree with Sean Allen, this is a beautiful piece of poetry, and I'm sure to the strum of a guitar or the keys of a piano, this would be absolutely breath-taking.
