In another time and another place, perhaps we could have been lovers; a forlorn thought indeed. Your eyes could have inspired poetry that would have made those same eyes tear. You could have been my everything, and filled the void inside, but alas: you are that void, you are my nothing, my romanticized fantasy of what could be vs. what is. I guess I was just wondering if you ever felt the same?
