FruitionA Poem by Joe PalmerLove manuscript- by novice, age 22.Love should just come easy, it will need no preconditions I know it sounds quite crass, yet watch it come round to fruition So forget the status quo, watch your woes, fade right into remission I've never told you that before. Love should almost ripen, growing stronger steadfastly From the sweet beginnings, when they first came round for
tea To the sickly blow, when they let you go, like an apple
falling from a tree Realization. They don’t love you anymore. But love will come again; you won’t need a second invitation
Grab it by the collar, again, that’s no revelation Brick by brick, you make it stick, love is just a temple of
your creation You’ll make it work for sure. © 2013 Joe PalmerFeatured Review
