I Dare You

I Dare You

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

Walk a mile, in my life than judge me

"
I dare you to look into my eyes
To wear my crown of thorns, to share my life
I dare you to walk with me for more than a couple of miles
And stand by me through more than just the smiles

I dare you to call me a liar
Cast a stone, or light a fire
I dare you to judge me, if you can find a throne to sit
And try to figure me out if the pieces fit

I dare you to walk on ashes
Take you your bruises, take your lashes
I dare you to seek out salvation once you've sought out hell
Only cast stones on others when you've first cast them on yourself

I dare you to tell me that my heart can't break
When I've cried enough tears to fill a lake
I dare you to tell me that I can't bleed
When I can show you the marks that a knife can leave

Thank you!:)
"Only cast stones on others when you've first cast them on ." I like that a lot. Good work. I like the poem, however I am receiving mixed messages from you. What was your ultimate goal in writing this poem?
