When the shield shattered

When the shield shattered

A Poem by Joshua Mesa

When the Warhammer falls on a shield, The shield broke like glass as of a rock went through a window. When a person feels a family is The shield, to protect to keep the rain the weather every element against the striking person The shield is there like a plain glass window it can shatter.
Sanity is a shield, personal space personal love personal feelings are all the shield, but when the glass shatters the weather comes in. So we try to reform the broken metal the broken glass we try to reform everything we try to rebuild, one stone at a time one pane of glass at a time we try to fix what has been shattered what has been broken but it is never entirely fixed cracks were made. It will never be whole again it will never be one piece again.
