I have fallen

Face down,

Face down

On the ground.

At first there is silence –

Not a sound –

But not for long.

Everybody around

Bursts out laughing

Laughing so hard.

They’re lying on the ground

Killing themselves with laughter

As I lay face down

On the ground.
