Someday I Might Love You

I swore that someday

I might love you.

I swore that one day

My heartache would be through.

 

I knew that one day

My crying would be done,

And when that happened

You’d be the one

 

To hold my hand

And squeeze me tight;

The one I could stay up talking to

All through the night.

 

I knew that I would

Love you someday,

I just never realised

It would be today.

Nice. I think that it's one of the best love poems I've read so far. Ya know, they usually are like so HAPPY poems.... but that one is cool. I like the ending. Nice.
