A Taste So Sweet

A Taste So Sweet

A Poem by Kitty

I watched you from outside,
Putting your hands all over her,
Kissing her,
Caressing her.
I hissed in disgust
As you took her to your room.

I didn't want to believe it,
But the proof was right in front of me.
I closed my eyes
And held back my tears.
It wasn't worth crying about.
You weren't worth crying over.

I waited until she left the room.
Luckily your window was left open
So I could creep in.
You looked so pathetic
Lying there on your bed.

I sat down on the bed next to you
And ran my fingers through your hair.
I hissed in pure excitement,
Licking my lips hungrily.
Then I leaned over to your neck
And dug my fangs
Deep into your flesh.
Your blood tasted sweet
As I licked it off my fangs.

You looked so peaceful
As you lay dying on your bed.
I wrapped my coat around myself
And began to shrink in size.

By the time she returned,
I had disappeared out the window,
Flapping my little bat wings,
Hissing with glee...

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
