Forever In Love

When we first met

I could never have known,

That in your heart

I’d find my home.

 

It all started

With the gentlest of smiles.

I remember just standing,

Staring into your eyes.

 

The day we kissed

Is one I’ll never forget –

We were out in the rain,

Our clothes sopping wet.

 

But we didn’t mind –

It was like a blessing from above.

That was four years ago,

I guess we’ll be, forever in love.

 

With our undying love

And passion so true,

There is no way

We’ll ever be through.

 

But I still cry

Each time you have to leave.

You are my everything,

My one and only, Steve.

 

I know the day will come

When I’ll be your wife,

And I’ll get to stare into those eyes

For the rest of my life.

 

This feeling we share is more

Than I could ever have dreamed of.

I guess we’ll be

Forever in love…
