He Grows on Me

He Grows on Me

A Poem by Kitty

Just like the flowers bloom in the spring time,
He grows on me.
His smile brightens my day,
His eyes twinkle in the night
And just like the flowers bloom in the spring time,
He grows on me.
His arms embrace me
In a hug full of love.
His lips lock with mine
In a kiss of passion.
And just like the flowers bloom in the spring time,
He grows on me...

Josie, I love this poem. It showcases the love to people can have for one another. It reminds me of a guy i knew in high school. I really could not stand him at all, we were total opposites, but what can i say he "grew on me" and i began to see all the wonderful things that made him who he wasseven years later I am proud to call that handsome man my husband, and if i wouldn't have taken a chance on him i would have missed out on the best part of my life, and the best friend i will ever have!
Thank you for writing this poem it makes me think of him evertime i read it!

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
