I once wanted nothing more

Than just to be with you,

But one day I woke up

I felt so confused -

I didn’t want to believe.

You were the one who promised

You would never leave.

 

You said you would

That you would be with me

Until the end of time.

 

But now you’re gone

And I feel so sad.

I wish you could see

The pain in my eyes,

This longing inside

For your demise.

 

I cannot get this yearning

Out of my head.
