Night Stalker

Night Stalker

A Poem by Kitty

I am a child of the night.
I spend many evenings
Just walking the streets.
No one to stop me.
No one to talk to.
No one to help me
Should something go wrong.
No one...
Just the wind,
Clouds,
Moon
And stars.
They have become
My best (only) friends.
I live for them.
And when the night
Drowns in dawn,
My soul is taken along with it...

This is both chilling and beautiful, and it has an almost 19th century feel to it... New yet classic. It moves with subtlety and stillness and then softly ends like an autumn breeze. So well done...

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
