Obsessive Fan

Obsessive Fan

A Poem by Kitty

I have pictures of you
All over my wall.
I have autographs and memorabilia
And that's not all:

I have items of your clothing
And pieces of leftover food.
I have photos of your house and car
And even your dog, Lou.

I creep in the bushes
That surround your house.
You never know I'm there
Because I'm as still as a mouse.

I sit at your window
And watch you sleep,
And when you go out for lunch
I treasure whatever you eat.

I have recordings of all
Of your telephone calls.
Have you ever wondered where things disappear to
Whenever they fall?

"I long for the day
That you'll be mine,"
I say these words and blow kisses
Every day to your shrine.

I have a few strands of your hair
All pretty and framed.
It's sad to know that you
Don't even know my name.

But one day you'll see,
You'll fall in love with me,
And we will be,
Happy eternally.

I'll be your woman
And you, my man.
But for now I'll sign off this letter
With love, hugs and kisses, Your Obsessive Fan xxxx
