Perfect World

Perfect World

A Poem by Kitty

Love doesn't exist –

It's just a fallacy,
An image we create
When we want to feel special.
We create the perfect mate,
The perfect feeling,
The perfect moment.
All we want is to feel
Someone's arms around us;
The soft feeling of their fingers
Running through our hair,
Across our skin;
Their tender lips pressed against ours,
Locked in a passionate embrace...

Love is just a fallacy.
Oh, but the fantasy.
Why can't we live in our perfect world
We have created,
Walking hand-in-hand
With our perfect mate?

Your words strike a chord with so many in our world today (maybe most)... I do believe that we can create a world of our own, to some degree, but that we simply fail to try... May you learn to create the world you need and love all around you!

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
