Point of No Return

There is a point in your life

When things become unbearable,

When life is no longer an option.

You try your best to get out,

Out of the hole you've been buried in,

But the harder you try,

The deeper you sink.

The ones who you think will help you,

Are the ones who never do.

Instead, they keep you in your hole,

Burying you deeper and deeper.

They don't realise

How deep the grave is that they've buried you in,

How much sand they've packed on,

Until your air supply runs out

And you are gone.

Then suddenly they realise,

But it's too late.

There's no bringing the dead

Back to life.
