Precious Time

Precious Time

A Poem by Kitty

We continuously argue
Session after session.
Don't you ever feel
Like you're wasting your time on me?
Like there's no chance for me?
Aren't there better things
You could be doing
Than listening to me
And my pathetic life?

It'll take a lot of your precious time
To make me understand.
Too much of your time.
I'm not worth wasting that on.

I have so many voices in my head
Talking at the same time,
Each saying something different.
I can't shut them out -
They will not be ignored.
But who do I listen to?
They are all contradicting one another!

It'll take time,
So much valuable time,
To get the voices out of my head,
To clear my thoughts,
To help me understand.
But our time on Earth is short
And I will not be the cause of wasting
Your precious time.

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
