This One's For Me

 

Choices are hard to make,

Whether it be life altering

Or what to where today.

 

But who makes my choices?

Who makes decisions on my behalf?

Should I just listen to the voices?

 

What do I base my decisions on?

Do I flip a coin

Or pray to the sun?

 

Should I choose a man over my own life?

Are my dreams worth giving up

To be someone’s wife?

 

But whatever plans I make,

It’s my choice,

My risk I’ll take.

 

It’s my decision what and who I’ll be.

MY decision! –

This one’s for me.
