To Belong

Is it what people think

That makes you who you are?

Is it maybe what you wear?

Is that what sets the bar?

Doesn’t personality come from within,

From the heart?

Isn’t it our soul

That lets us stand apart?

Why is there this want, this need,

To feel like we belong?

What’s the problem with standing out -

Why is it so wrong?
