Wish You Were Here

Wish You Were Here

A Poem by Kitty

"Stay," I begged,
But he had to leave,
Walking out my door
And leaving me on my own,
With only my tears as company.
If only he didn't have to leave,
Things would be great -
My life would be perfect,
My night full of bliss.
But still, he had to go
And alone I sat,
His scent lingering on my pillow.
I hugged the pillow,
Imagining it was him,
And said a silent prayer
Hoping that he would feel my touch.
"I miss you," I whispered.
"I miss you too," came the reply...

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
