Blame

Blame

A Poem by Kitty

Why would you say

All those things to me?

Why did you have to

Make me believe?

The words you said

Made me smile.

They had made me happy

For a while.

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for the rainy skies.

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for the tears falling from my eyes.

Why did I ever think

You would be true?

Why do I still

Feel this way about you?

You have

Stolen my heart.

Why'd you have to

Tear it apart?

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for the rain that falls.

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for taking my all.

You say you still want me

But as a kind of a fling.

You want this to be

A 'no-strings-attached' thing.

I've agreed,

What else was I to do?

I'd rather have just this,

Than to forever lose you.

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for the skies turned black.

I blame you for the dark days.

Blame you for the self-esteem I lack.

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
