Guess I was Pushing My Luck

Guess I was Pushing My Luck

A Poem by Kitty

When days are low

And friends are few,

You said you'd be the one

I could turn to.

You had stolen my heart

And forced your way into my head.

I fell for your lies -

Believed all that you said.

But how could I have been so wrong -

I thought this was real.

There's no way of mistaking

How you make me feel.

You said you wanted more from this -

Not just an easy f**k.

But I guess by wishing that that was true,

I was pushing my luck.

And then when you asked me to get rid of my child,

A part of me died.

Your lack of heart and caring

Has lead me to suicide...

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
