Reverse This Curse

Reverse This Curse

A Poem by Kitty

“Bubble, bubble

Toil and trouble.”

Stop it!

I don’t want to

Be under your spell!

You keep stirring the cauldron,

The broth overflowing.

Why are you doing this?

Won’t you please stop?

“An eye of a newt;

A tongue of a lizard;

An egg of a crocodile.”

Could you please end this curse?

I don’t want to feel this way.

End it, I beg of you, please.

You’re forcing me to spend

The rest of my days

Longing after you.

My heart cannot take that pain -

You don’t love me.

Why are you making me suffer?

Please leave me be.

This heartache will be the death of me.

I don’t want to have to watch you

Flirting with other girls.

I can’t handle your hands on them.

Stop it.

Please, end this now.

Reverse this curse.

I don’t want to love you

If you won’t love me too.

Stop stirring the pot –

I want out!

Don’t let your broth overflow,

Please, set me free.

I won’t drink your potion

Just to watch you fool around with her.

You cannot keep me here

Just to have me around for when you need me.

I want out, now.

Please reverse this curse.

I don’t want to love you anymore…

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
