I Can't Do This Alone

Please help me.

I need you by my side.

I need to have you around,

So you can be my guide.

 

I know this sounds stupid,

But I’m scared to take the steps.

I’m petrified that, like everything else,

This will turn into a mess.

 

Please don’t turn your back on me;

I would never survive.

Don’t you understand that without your help,

Today I wouldn’t be alive?

 

You’ve done so much and I know it’s unfair

For me to ask for more.

But I beg of you, please,

Please Kevin, please don’t walk out that door!

 

I cannot do this without you.

I cannot do this on my own.

I need you to be there for me.

Please don’t let me do this alone.
