Another Death Wish

Another Death Wish

A Poem by Kitty

I sit in the corner
Just listening to you and her.
Why did we never sit and talk?
Why did we never just sit
In each other's presence?
I retract into the darkness
And just wish I could die.

I walk past your office
And see the two of you in there.
Why did you never look at me like that?
Why was there never
That intense 'power' between us?
I slink back into the abyss
And again wish I could die.

Walking to my car
I notice you standing at hers.
Why did we never leave together?
Why did we never share
Kisses so passionate and real?
I crawl back into my coffin
And finally, my wish comes true...

Wow! Powerful!! A failed love is skillfully expressed. It brings out the dark emotions of the poet in a really realsitic way.I enjoyed reading it.Th way you've composed it, it's sounds very good and it has a smooth flow.A kind of pattern I find in every line....
Great Job!!!

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
