Are You Afraid?A Poem by KittyI see you looking At the pictures on my wall. I see that fear in your eyes As you read over the quotes. I notice the terror As you see me watching you. Are you scared Of what the pictures imply? Are you fearful Of what the quotes say? Are you paranoid Of what I am capable of doing? It’s a simple concept – I love blood and death. It’s a passion; A pleasure; An addiction; An infatuation; An obsession. Does that idea Make you tremble? Does it make you Want to run and hide? Don’t you like That bright crimson red? Do you not appreciate The joy that a knife can bring? Are you worried, My darling, Wishing you could die? Well, Baby, Your wish is my command. I ask you one final time, Are you afraid? You should be… Copyright©JosieWentzel07April2008
