Lips of Deceipt {ACROSTIC}

Lips of Deceipt {ACROSTIC}

A Poem by Kitty

Looking back to what

I once thought we had, I now know I was

Punishing myself by believing every

Sugar-coated lie that escaped your lips.

Of all the people in the world, I

Fell for you.  I still wonder how I landed in your web of

Deceit and torture; wonder how I could

Ever have been attracted to a

Character such as yourself.  For

Every lie you told,

I died a bit more, not

That you ever cared to notice…

I think I'm liking acrostic poems. never tried one and was just randomly looking through your loads of work. This is a neat story of betrayal and I thought it was powerful. I mean what you were saying meant something that was slowly killing you. Everyone does this or I do as well!

It's interesting and short, It kind of just stans there and doesn't 'jump' out at me. I am not sure what to think it's just 'bland'. I was wishing for some sizzle in it. Other than that I would say that it was alright and I know this might seem alittle bitchy and I appologize for it a head of time for the meaness.
