So moving and deeply emotional. You cut at the heart of a sadness that can grip us for a lifetime, and the sad state of the world that encourages us to just smile and move on (never dealing with the pain or ever feeling embraced for simply being who we are). So well written and so powerful. Oh, I wish we could all accept each other and love each for who we are and not have to fake smiles...

Great write.I truly enjoyed reading this piece.I can even relate to few stanzas.I agree, the style is not new, but still the poem is very good.Th way you've expressed yourself, it's really wonderful...Of course, I loved the rhyme scheme....too.
Well Done!!

there's nothing really different in your style, about how others would write on physical sense as you write on an emotional/spiritual sense. In fact, writing in an emotional/spiritual sense is one of everyone's favorite writing style. It imparts knowledge and insight.
Back to your poem.
You have a good concept here, you have good form and good rhythm. You are able to impart your message the way you wanted to.
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
