Too Much to Ask

Too Much to Ask

A Poem by Kitty

All I ever wanted
Was someone to love,
Someone who would love me.
All I ever requested
Was a little joy in my life.
All I ever needed
Was someone to tell me I'm beautiful
Even though I'm still in my pajamas,
Hair all out of place,
Eyes, red and puffy from all the tears.
All I ever wanted
Was to be happy,
Loved,
Wanted,
Needed.
All I ever asked
Was to be good enough;
To be something special to someone...
But I guess it was
Too much to ask.

a heartfelt spill of yearnings common to us all Couched in poetic prose.
It gets better as you mature and discover that you are morethan you ever thought you were When some validates your worth to them

About
Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
