Guess I'll Have to Die

I too have bled.

Do you see the scars?

I too have suffered

At the hand of Love.

But have you noticed?

I doubt it.

I guess there are too many

Others out there

That need your attention more than I.

But it doesn't make me feel

Any less lonely.

Doesn't make me feel

Any less jealous.

Doesn't make me feel

Any less heartache.

Do I have to bleed again

To make you understand?

Do I have to continue to suffer

For you to pay attention to me?

I guess I'll have to die

Before you realise I was even here...

Great poem ! I felt every drop of blood sweat and tears that contribute to the making of this poem. I am not refering to the labor of writing but the experience of loving and losing by way of heartache. Very emotional write.
