Moonlight Madness

Moonlight Madness

A Poem by Kitty

Down in the garden

Little fairies play

Out in the moonlight

At the end of the day.

They jump from flower to flower

Petals falling everywhere.

They fly all around

Up high in the air.

Their wings shine like fire

In the bright moonlight.

Oh, these mischievous fairies

That come out at night.

I walk in the garden

And see them playing there

They fly all around me,

Tugging at my hair.

I sit on a rock

And watch as they play.

They playfulness grows

With each moon ray.

But as the sun begins to rise,

Their party comes to an end.

But there’s no doubt,

Their next parade is just around the bend.

I absolutely love the playfulness and joy expressed in your poem!!!! It takes me to another world if just for a few moments... I could use that just now! Thank you!!!!!

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
