Let Me Be

Let Me Be

A Poem by Kitty

Daily I feel stressed,

Ripping my hair

Out of my head.

But what causes this?

There’s the lack of privacy.

The lack of being able

To keep my thoughts to myself.

All the questions and probing,

Why won’t you just let me be?

Why do I let myself

Take responsibility

For everyone else?

You all make your mistakes

Then turn and point

The finger at me.

I wish you would all

Just leave me alone!

Let me suffer with this stress,

With this loneliness…

You poem has two differring views. At one point, you people to leave you alone; you want to keep your thoughts to yourself want people to stop bugging you, but at the same time, you say that you live with the pain of lonliness. I found these views kinda contradicting.
But anyway, the poem was wonderful, full raw strong emotions, shouting out to the world to let you be. You want others to know that you can take care of yourself.
All the feelings are beautifully expressed.
