Colour of Love

If I could colour love

I would colour it red,

Because I want to lay beside you

In our comfy, warm bed.

 

If I could colour love

I would colour it brown,

Because when I’m with you

I smile, and never frown.

 

If I could colour love

I would colour it yellow,

Because I want you –

My perfect fellow.

 

If I could colour love

I would colour it green,

Because your face

Is the cutest I’ve ever seen.

 

If I could colour love

I would colour it blue,

Because I know the only one

For me is you.

 

If I could colour love

I would colour it jade

Because my love for you

Will never ever fade…
