I look out the window

And stare up at the sky,

Just watching at the clouds

Float on by.

 

I wonder if you’re happy,

Wonder if you’re sad.

Wonder if you realise

That I’m missing you, bad!

 

And I miss you

Like the deserts miss the rain.

 

I want you here beside me,

Just so I can hold your hand.

I love you so much!

If only you were my man.

 

I long for you

Night and day,

I wish you weren’t

So far away.

 

Because I miss you

Like the deserts miss the rain

 

I miss you,

Say you’ll come back someday.

So many things I have to say about this poem.

First, I just love it, you see.

Second, "And I miss you

Like the deserts miss the rain." I like this phrasal xpression of love; the absense of fiance makes a girl so sad that is equal to desert without rain. Wow! what a comparison. Good work.

Third, the arrangement of the words. Such a perfect order is there!
