I’d rather die

Than continue to do this.

But how can I stop my heart

From loving you?

How can I stop my mind

From thinking of you?

How can I stop my body

From yearning for your touch?

How can I stop my soul

From longing after you?

How can I stop myself

From hoping?

Tell me, please,

I beg of you,

Because I would rather die

Than continue to do this.
