Sometimes it never comes...

Tomorrow {ACROSTIC}

 

Sadness fills our days,

Our hearts down in tears.

Meaningless words are spoken

Even after all these years.

Time slows for no one, a lesson

I had to learn.

Minutes speed by in seconds;

Everything seems to turn

So quickly.

 

If we wait for

Tomorrow to come, we may

 

Never have the opportunity to

Escape from Life’s

Vicious routine of

Everyday chores

Ruining the freedom of Today.

 

Call your friends and family,

Offer a helping hand.

Mean each word you say; mean

Everything you do, because

Sometimes Tomorrow never comes.

What an amazing piece, with a deeply moving, bittersweet lesson for us all. We would all do well to listen to your words, count each second as precious, take nothing for granted... Tomorrow is only ever a wish... I know I have said this before, but you create powerful acrostics that flow perfectly and don't feel confined to the form. Incredible work; incredible words!
